All Inherent Home buyers are required to complete an 8 hour HUD certified homebuyer education course. Buyers are encouraged to seek HUD agencies that offer courses near them or virtually. For your convenience, we will be posting our partners schedules on our events page here.

This course is designed to help homebuyers prepare for the process of purchasing a home and to navigate the challenges of becoming a new homeowner. Participants must attend Part 1 and Part 2, in its entirety 4 hours per workshop totaling 8 hours, to receive a Homebuyer Education Certificate. The Chicago Urban League is a HUD-approved housing counseling agency and an affiliate of the National Urban League.
